Every year the child can unwind the ribbon to see how much they have grown in the last year. The way this ornament works is you unwind the ribbon and measure the childs height with it. It is 6 Ft tall so it can be cut down to size. Then wind it back up and next year, the child can unwind it to see how much they have grown! Made from 1/4 maple.
